God is real!

I've been doing a lot of thinking. Thinking about what I stand for and what I believe in, how far God has brought me, and what plans He has in store for me.

Sometimes we all go through phases in life where we find ourselves under so much pressure, when all our hopes and dreams seem to crumble and fall right in front of our eyes. We find ourselves under the enemy's attack, making us feel like we're hopeless, and that we'll never amount to anything. Such moments sway us away from the bigger picture, and this is when we question whether God is real, and if He is, we wonder why He has abandoned us.

Let me encourage you my dear friend, that wherever you are in life, and whatever situation you are going through, hold on to the promise that God is real! He loves you and cares for you, much more than you'll ever know. He knows and understands what you're going through, and He will wipe the tears from your eyes!

Just spend time praying and meditating on His word. Trust in Him, and believe that He will see you through it all, and lift you to greater heights. There is nothing too hard for Him. All he wants is for you to trust Him. If you're ever in doubt of God's love for you, here are some verses that will hopefully encourge you, and keep your spirit lifted:

When you feel alone and abandoned - Hebrews 13:5 ...God has said, "Never will I leave you;never will I forsake you." (NIV)

When you're going through pain and suffering - Romans 8:18 "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

My favourite gospel artist, Deitrick Haddon Deitrick Haddon sang a song titled Amen. This song, from his album titled Crossroads, is very powerful, and reminds me how much God loves me, what He has done for me, and the great things He is yet to do for me. Another song by Deitrick Haddon that helps me feel encourged when i'm feeling down is Through It All, from one of his other albums, 7 Days.

I am now constantly reminding myself that God is my Father, and I belong to Him, with a little help from my other top favourite artists, Men of Standard, through their song Yours, from the album Surrounded

I am also living my life to the fullest, with the joy of knowing that God's love for me is incredible. And just as Albert Camus said, "I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live as if there isn't and die to find out there is."
