East, West, Home is Best
My first post for 2010. Once again, my brothers, younger sister who's barely been in Australia and I were truly honoured and blessed with the opportunity to travel back home to Kenya for Christmas. We had a great reunion, after being away from our parents and oldest sister for about a year.
We had such a wonderful time, and I'm pretty sure coming together brought us closer, particularly now that our family is growing. I now have a nephew and I must say, he's among the best things God has given our family, so we all love him dearly.
I also got to spend some quality time with my girls Esther Kamau, Susan Lodenyo, Friddah Muturi, Christabellar aka mama Aby (Congrats once again love)and Madge Kariche, my boys David, Steve, Eric, Niko, Robert and Inno, as well as my other relatives and friends.
Some of the highlights from my holiday were visiting Dubai on our way to Kenya, a reunion for Hospital Hill Primary Schl class of 96', and also seeing our (my brothers, sisters and I) Sunday school teacher, Teacher Neddy as well as her wonderful son Paul. I also enjoyed watching Afro-sinema, and as you've probably noticed, I learnt how to speak like a Nigerian so I acquired a new title of Igwe. For those curious to know what/who Igwe is (not to mention any names like Pol), all I can tell you, is that's for me to know and for you to find out. For now, enjoy some of the photos from my holiday.
